My poor little blog, how I have neglected you. Life with two kids is very busy, especially at the holidays. Who knew? (By the way, I do have Christmas pictures to share, but in true Henderson fashion, they aren't uploaded yet.)
Once again, we had to wake Abbey up on Christmas morning. She slept until we woke her at 8:45!! She was a little confused and out of it when she came down the stairs, but quickly got into the swing of things...namely, opening every present under the tree, whether it was for her or not. We were lucky to have the Kislaks with us again this year (my aunt, uncle and 2 cousins), as well as my cousin Carrie, her daughter Ananda, and my parents. For those of you not good with math, that's a total of 12 people!! All visiting from Miami and freezing their arses off in 30-degree weather. I wouldn't have it any other way. The holidays are meant to be spent with family and with lots of chaos (and good wine!).
Curren had a good first Christmas as well, although it was naturally totally over his head. We didn't even wrap most of his gifts. Ahhh, the difference between the first and second child. But really, how would he know if his gifts were wrapped? ;) He enjoyed them all the same.
His latest trick is to raise his hands in the air when someone asks "How big is Curren?" He is quite the ham and often raises his little hands even when nobody is watching him, just to get attention. Cute! Mmmm! He is yummy!
Abbey still keeps us laughing daily. She was playing flight attendant this morning and said the following to her little passengers: "Ok, we are taking off now. Be sure not to go potty in your pants b/c that is very bad for the airplane." LOL! Still obsessed with being a teenager or a princess. She received a vanity for Christmas and spends lots of time perfecting her look or pretending to talk on the phone. What are we in for in a few years?!?!
